Terms of Service
Last updated: June 13, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Paid Space website, apps, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them.
Paid Space connects people's crypto addresses. Creators ("Sellers") and supporters ("Buyers") interact through chat and other features, and payments move directly between their addresses — mainly through Auto Sessions, which use non-custodial smart contracts. We also offer legacy crypto deposits and withdrawals, with no refunds guaranteed for Buyers. Paid Space is not a bank, money transmitter, exchange, custodian, or store of value.
1) Account Types, Roles, and Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service.
- You must follow all laws that apply to you, including those governing your content and payments.
- Buyer Accounts: Buyers send payments to Sellers to interact with them. Buyer accounts can only send payments, not receive them.
- Seller Accounts: Sellers receive payments from Buyers for digital interactions and content. Seller accounts can only receive payments, not send them. Sellers must complete verification before receiving payouts.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly about any suspected unauthorized use.
2) Content Policy and Prohibited Content
Content Policy: Paid Space prohibits illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, fraudulent, harassing, threatening, and rights-infringing content. All content uploaded, shared, or linked through the Service must comply with applicable law and platform requirements.
- You must not upload, post, or link to content that: (a) involves minors or persons who are under 18; (b) depicts or promotes non‑consensual acts, exploitation, or trafficking; (c) is illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive; (d) constitutes doxxing, targeted harassment, or credible threats; or (e) infringes or violates the rights of any third party.
- If your content uses another person's image, likeness, voice, or performance, you must have every permission, consent, and written release the law requires. For U.S. intimate visual depictions, consent must be voluntary and informed, and consent to create content is not consent to share it (15 U.S.C. §6851).
- If U.S. age-verification and recordkeeping law applies to your content (18 U.S.C. §§2257-2257A; 28 C.F.R. Part 75), you must confirm every performer is 18 or older before production and keep the required records. Any sexually explicit depiction of a minor is strictly prohibited (18 U.S.C. §§2251, 2252A, 2256).
- Violating the content policy results in immediate suspension or termination and forfeiture of pending payouts.
- We do not endorse or guarantee any user or content. Your interactions with other users are between you and them.
3) Moderation and Enforcement
- We moderate content for compliance with these Terms and our content policy.
- We use automated systems and human review to detect and remove prohibited content.
- Users may report content or accounts that violate these Terms using in‑app reporting tools.
- We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and withhold funds at our discretion if we believe a violation has occurred or is likely.
- Repeated or severe violations result in permanent termination.
- We cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities as required by law.
4) Your Content and License to Paid Space
- You own the content and data you submit to the Service ("Your Content").
- You grant Paid Space a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content as needed to run, secure, and improve the Service and to comply with law.
- You confirm that you have the rights to grant this license, that Your Content complies with these Terms and the law, and that everyone depicted is a consenting adult (18+).
- If you use voice features (samples, clones, synthesis), you must have the rights and consents to do so, and must not impersonate or exploit anyone without authorization.
- You are responsible for Your Content. We may review it, but are not obligated to.
5) Chat Credits and the Ledger System
Chat credits are an internal tally that tracks messaging usage between a Buyer and a Seller. The Service is not a wallet or store of value.
- Ledger System: We keep a ledger for each Buyer-Seller pair tracking credits between them. Each ledger is independent and never goes below zero.
- Chat credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Sellers receive payouts from their earnings (Section 6).
- Unused credits may expire according to our policies, which we may update from time to time.
6) Payments, Refunds, and Seller Payouts
- Buyers: When you make a payment, you authorize the transaction you initiate. Payments move between crypto addresses — mainly through non-custodial Auto Session smart contracts. Paid Space does not hold your funds, and payments are not a way to store or save money.
- Gems: Gems are priced at $0.05 USD per gem.
- Gem Purchases for Sellers: When a Buyer sends gems to a Seller, the Seller earns $0.025 USD per gem (50% of gem purchase value). Example: 1,000 gems sent = $25.00 USD earned.
- Sellers: To receive payouts, you must complete identity verification with Paid Space. Verification materials are stored privately with restricted access.
- Payments are for digital services such as chat access, content unlocks, and interactive features.
- We may withhold, reverse, or adjust payments or payouts if a transaction looks fraudulent or unauthorized, policies were violated, or the law requires it.
- Platform fees and site cut. Paid Space keeps a 15% site cut from creator settlements and payouts unless a different rate is shown at checkout.
- Auto Session cash-back fee. Auto Session refunds and unused balances carry a 10% cash-back fee, unless a different rate is shown. Network and wallet fees may also reduce what you receive.
- Legacy deposits. Legacy (classic) crypto deposits are final, with no refunds guaranteed to Buyers. If we choose to issue one, a 25% refund fee applies unless the law says otherwise.
Auto-Session Deposits
Auto Session is our main payment method. It connects the Buyer's crypto address to creators' addresses through a non-custodial smart contract: amounts the Buyer authorizes go to the creator(s), and anything left is automatically returned to the Buyer's refund address.
- Buyer-defined parameters. The Buyer selects the asset, amount, session window, and refund address at deposit time.
- Automatic refund. Anything the Buyer does not authorize during the session window is automatically returned to their refund address.
- Refund address. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the refund address. Funds sent to it cannot be reversed by Paid Space.
- Blockchain risk. You are responsible for choosing the correct chain, asset, addresses, and wallet. Crypto transactions are generally irreversible; funds sent incorrectly may be permanently lost, and Paid Space cannot recover funds lost to user error, wallet compromise, third-party failures, or network conditions.
- Purpose. An Auto Session funds a single session. It is not a wallet or savings product.
Refunds for Buyers
- Final by default. Unless the law requires otherwise, all payments are final, and no refunds are guaranteed to Buyers.
- Auto Sessions refund automatically. Whatever you don't authorize during the session window is returned on-chain to your refund address by the smart contract, minus the 10% cash-back fee and any network fees. Paid Space generally cannot intervene in or speed up this process.
- Legacy deposits. Legacy crypto deposits carry no guaranteed refunds. We may issue one at our sole discretion, subject to the 25% fee above, and may deny requests from accounts that have not used the Service in good faith.
- Refunds are not withdrawals. Buyers cannot withdraw chat credits as cash. Approved refunds go to your refund address.
- How to request. Submit refund requests for legacy deposits through in-app support or at hey@paid.space.
Seller Payouts
- Sellers (not Buyers) receive payouts of their earnings on the Service.
- Approved payouts are processed promptly, but timing can vary with verification, risk review, payout method, network conditions, and legal requirements.
- Provide accurate payout details. We may delay or reject a payout if details are wrong, the request looks suspicious, or review is needed.
- Buyers do not have payouts; their flow is the refund process above.
Taxes
- Taxes. You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. Where required, Paid Space may collect taxpayer information (such as a W-9) and issue IRS Form 1099-K or similar returns.
7) Content Visibility, Locked Views, and Access Controls
Some posts use a visual "locked" overlay. This is presentation only, rendered in your browser — not encryption.
- Public content: Public content may be viewed, cached, or indexed by third parties, including by tools outside our control.
- Private chats: Private chat content is intended only for its participants and authorized staff who need access for safety, support, or legal reasons.
- Purchasing access grants a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license for your own non-commercial viewing.
- Unlocking content does not grant ownership or any right to copy, record, or redistribute it.
- You agree not to bypass or interfere with access controls, overlays, or anti-abuse measures.
- We cannot guarantee any content will stay private or secure. You upload at your own risk.
8) Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
- You must not use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose, including fraud or money laundering.
- You must not circumvent payment policies or run prohibited business activities.
- You must not scrape, bulk-download, or systematically access the Service outside authorized interfaces.
- You must not bypass or tamper with restrictions, security features, or technical protections.
- You must not upload malware, disrupt the Service, or interfere with other users' access.
- You must not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
9) Intellectual Property and Takedowns
- The Service — our software, design, and branding — is owned by Paid Space and its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
- If you believe content infringes your rights, report it using in-app tools or by contacting us.
- For U.S. copyright claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, including notices under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) and counter-notices under 17 U.S.C. §512(g), contact us at hey@paid.space.
10) Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination
- We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend or terminate accounts to protect the Service and its users or to enforce these Terms.
- We may suspend or terminate access without notice if you violate these Terms, create legal risk, or the law requires it.
- If your account is terminated for policy violations, you may forfeit pending payouts and unused credits.
- Upon termination, your license to use the Service immediately ceases.
11) Disclaimers of Warranties
- The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind.
- We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- We do not control user content and are not responsible for users' actions.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paid Space and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Paid Space is not liable for lost, stolen, misdirected, delayed, or incorrectly settled crypto, including losses from wrong addresses, unsupported assets or networks, user error, compromised wallets, third parties, network fees or delays, or smart-contract execution.
Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of US$100 or the fees you paid directly to Paid Space (excluding amounts paid to Sellers or sent on-chain) in the 3 months before the claim arose.
13) Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Company is registered, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts there.
14) Privacy Policy and Additional Terms
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy. Additional terms may apply to specific features.
15) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will announce material changes via the Service; continued use means you accept them.
16) Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact us at hey@paid.space or through in‑app support.
