Terms of Service
Last updated: March 12, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") governs your access to and use of the Paid Space website, apps, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Paid Space is a platform that facilitates digital interactions between creators ("Sellers") and supporters ("Buyers") through a system of chat credits.
1) Account Types, Roles, and Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service.
- You must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including those governing the content you share and the payments you make or receive.
- Buyer Accounts: Buyers are users who purchase chat credits to interact with Sellers. Buyer accounts can only make purchases and cannot receive payments through the Service.
- Seller Accounts: Sellers are users who earn chat credits by providing digital interactions, content access, and chat time to Buyers. Seller accounts can only receive earnings and cannot make purchases through the Service. Sellers must complete verification onboarding to receive payouts.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorized use.
2) Content Policy and Prohibited Content
Content Policy: Paid Space prohibits illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, fraudulent, harassing, threatening, and rights-infringing content. All content uploaded, shared, or linked through the Service must comply with applicable law and platform requirements.
- All content must comply with platform requirements.
- You must not upload, post, share, or link to content that violates applicable law, platform requirements, or these Terms.
- You must not upload, post, or link to content that: (a) involves minors or persons who are under 18; (b) depicts or promotes non‑consensual acts, exploitation, or trafficking; (c) is illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive; (d) constitutes doxxing, targeted harassment, or credible threats; or (e) infringes or violates the rights of any third party.
- If your content depicts, records, imitates, or otherwise uses the image, likeness, voice, or performance of another person, you must have all permissions, consents, and any written releases required by applicable law. For U.S. intimate visual depictions, consent must be affirmative, conscious, and voluntary, free from force, fraud, misrepresentation, or coercion, and consent to creation does not by itself establish consent to disclosure. See 15 U.S.C. §6851.
- If your content is subject to U.S. age-verification and recordkeeping law, including 18 U.S.C. §§2257-2257A and 28 C.F.R. Part 75, you must verify before production that each performer is at least 18 and maintain the required records, including legal name, date of birth, aliases, a legible government ID copy, and the title, URL, or other identifying reference for the depiction. Any sexually explicit visual depiction involving a minor is prohibited. See 18 U.S.C. §§2251, 2252A, and 2256.
- Violation of the content policy will result in immediate account suspension or termination and forfeiture of any pending payouts.
- We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any Seller, Buyer, or content. Your interactions with other users are solely between you and them.
3) Moderation and Enforcement
- Paid Space actively moderates content to ensure compliance with these Terms and our content policies.
- We employ both automated systems and human review to detect and remove prohibited content.
- Users may report content or accounts that violate these Terms using in‑app reporting tools.
- We reserve the right to remove any content, suspend or terminate any account, and withhold any funds at our sole discretion if we believe a violation has occurred or is likely to occur.
- Repeated violations or severe violations of our content policy will result in permanent account termination.
- We cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities as required by law.
4) Your Content and License to Paid Space
- As between you and Paid Space, you retain ownership of the content and data you submit to the Service ("Your Content").
- You grant Paid Space a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, sublicensable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, process, adapt, transmit, and display Your Content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, and to comply with law.
- You represent and warrant that: (a) you have all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and consents to grant this license; (b) Your Content complies with these Terms and applicable law; and (c) all depicted individuals are consenting adults (18+), where applicable.
- If you upload voice samples, create voice clones, or use voice synthesis features, you represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to do so. You must not upload or generate voice content that impersonates or exploits any person without authorization.
- You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring that it complies with these Terms and all applicable laws. We may, but have no obligation to, review or monitor Your Content.
5) Chat Credits and the Ledger System
When Buyers make purchases on the Service, their transactions are recorded as chat credits. These represent a digital tally within the Service used to access chat features, purchase experiences, and interact with Sellers.
- Chat Credits: Digital units that enable messaging and chat features with Sellers. Credits are consumed as you interact.
- Ledger System: The Service maintains a ledger (balance) for each Buyer‑Seller pair. This ledger tracks the tally of credits between the two parties. The ledger balance can increase (when Buyers make purchases) or decrease (when credits are consumed or when both parties allow a suggested adjustment to stand), but the balance must always remain zero or positive—negative balances are not permitted. Decreases from win-back games are suggestions until both parties allow them to stand (see Section 7).
- Chat credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for currency. Sellers receive payouts based on their earnings from providing digital services, as described in Section 6.
- Non-Transferable: Credits on a ledger with one Seller cannot be transferred to another Seller. Each Buyer‑Seller ledger is independent.
- Unused credits may expire according to our policies, which we may update from time to time.
6) Payments, Withdrawals, and Payouts
- Buyers: When you purchase chat credits, you authorize Paid Space to charge your payment method for the amounts you specify.
- Gems: Gems are priced at $0.05 USD per gem.
- Gem Purchases for Sellers: When a Buyer sends gems to a Seller, the Seller earns $0.025 USD per gem (50% of gem purchase value). Example: 1,000 gems sent = $25.00 USD earned.
- Pre-Authorizations: For certain features (such as auto / autosend or pay-per-minute interactions), we may place a pre-authorization hold on your payment method. This reserves funds without immediately charging you. Only the actual amount spent is captured; any unused portion of the hold is released. Holds typically expire after 7 days if not captured.
- Sellers: To receive payouts, you must complete Paid Space verification onboarding, which includes identity verification handled by Paid Space. Submitted verification materials are stored privately with restricted access.
- Payments are made in exchange for digital services, including chat access, content unlocks, and interactive features. All payments are treated as consideration for digital goods and services, not as gratuities.
- Unless required by applicable law, all payments are final and non‑refundable. We may, in our sole discretion, issue refunds in exceptional circumstances.
- We may withhold, reverse, or adjust payments or payouts if we believe: (a) a transaction is fraudulent or unauthorized; (b) content policies have been violated; (c) a chargeback has been filed; or (d) it is necessary to comply with law or protect users.
- Platform fees are deducted from Seller payouts as disclosed in the Service.
Withdrawals
- Approved withdrawal and payout requests are generally processed in a commercially reasonable and timely manner, but timing may vary based on identity verification, fraud and risk review, payout method, blockchain or network conditions, processor delays, weekends or holidays, and legal or compliance requirements.
- You are responsible for providing accurate payout details. We may delay, reject, cancel, or reverse a withdrawal or payout if the details provided are inaccurate, the request appears suspicious, or additional review is reasonably required.
7) Interactive Features
Interactive features on the Service are for entertainment purposes only. Paid Space is not a gambling service or casino, and these features do not award cash prizes, sweepstakes prizes, or off-platform winnings. Any resulting balances, content views, message credits, or access changes remain part of the on-platform digital experience and are not gambling winnings or prizes.
- Interactive features consume chat credits from the Buyer's ledger.
- Buyers: Feature usage may adjust your ledger balance within system limits. You cannot withdraw credits as cash.
- Sellers: Credits consumed through interactive features contribute to your earnings. These earnings can be withdrawn through payouts like any other earnings on the platform.
- Credit Floor System: Each ledger tracks its high-water mark (maximum balance reached). The Seller's floor percentage (0%–100%) caps how low the ledger can drop relative to that peak.
- Interactive outcomes do not entitle you to any cash prize, contest prize, sweepstakes reward, or other off-platform consideration from Paid Space.
Win-back Games and Suggestions
Interactive features that could reduce a ledger balance ("win-back games") produce suggestions. A suggestion only becomes final when both the Buyer and the Seller allow it to stand.
- Suggestions: The outcome of a win-back game is a proposed ledger adjustment. The ledger does not actually change until both parties accept.
- Reversal right: After a win-back game, both the Buyer and the Seller can reverse the most recent suggestion. This right is always available when playing win-back games.
- Mutual consent: A suggestion becomes final only when neither party reverses it. Either party may reverse for any reason.
- One-way features: Features that can only increase a ledger (such as tips, rolls, and autosends) are final upon execution and are not subject to the suggestion mechanics above.
8) Content Visibility, Locked Views, and Access Controls
Public posts, profile uploads, and other non-chat content on the Service should be treated as publicly accessible. Private chats and direct messages are intended to be available only to their participants, but no online system can guarantee absolute privacy, confidentiality, or security.
- Public content: By uploading public-facing content to the Service, you acknowledge that it may be accessed, viewed, cached, or indexed by third parties, including through scraping, automated tools, or other means outside our control.
- Private chats: Messages and media shared inside a private chat are intended only for the chat participants and authorized moderators or administrators who need access for safety, support, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
- Some posts or views may be presented with a visual "locked" overlay. This overlay is a client‑side presentation layer rendered in your browser. It is not encryption and does not provide cryptographic security.
- Using chat credits to purchase experiences grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non‑transferable license to view that content for your own non‑commercial use.
- Unlocking content does not grant ownership rights or any right to copy, record, redistribute, or create derivative works.
- You agree not to use any technical or non‑technical means to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any access controls, overlays, or anti‑abuse measures.
- Paid Space makes no warranty or representation that any content will remain perfectly private, secure, or inaccessible to unauthorized parties. You upload content at your own risk.
9) Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
- You must not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose, including fraud, money laundering, or other unlawful activities.
- You must not use the Service to circumvent payment policies or engage in prohibited business activities.
- You must not scrape, spider, bulk‑download, or systematically access the Service outside of documented, authorized interfaces.
- You must not attempt to disable, bypass, or tamper with restrictions, access controls, security features, or technical protections.
- You must not upload malware, attempt to disrupt or degrade the Service, or interfere with other users' access.
- You must not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
10) Intellectual Property and Takedowns
- The Service, including our software, design, branding, and other materials, is owned by Paid Space and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, you may report it using in‑app tools or by contacting us.
- For U.S. copyright claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, including notices under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) and counter-notices under 17 U.S.C. §512(g), contact us at hey@paid.space.
- User‑generated content is provided solely by users; Paid Space does not endorse, verify, or guarantee any user or content.
11) Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination
- We may, at any time and in our sole discretion, remove content, restrict access, suspend or terminate accounts, or take any action to protect the Service, users, or third parties, or to enforce these Terms.
- We may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if we believe you have violated these Terms, created legal risk, or if required by law.
- If your account is terminated for policy violations (especially content policy violations), you may forfeit any pending payouts and unused credits.
- Upon termination, your license to use the Service immediately ceases.
12) Disclaimers of Warranties
- The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free.
- We do not control or endorse any user‑generated content and are not responsible for the actions or omissions of users.
13) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paid Space and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.
Paid Space's aggregate liability for all claims arising out of these Terms or the Service will be limited to the greater of: (a) US$100; or (b) the amounts you paid directly to Paid Space (excluding amounts paid to Sellers) in the three (3) months before the claim arose.
14) Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is registered, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in said jurisdiction for any disputes.
15) Privacy Policy and Additional Terms
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy. Additional terms may apply to specific features.
16) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
